Happy Fathers Day

Last night I thoroughly enjoyed the company of a couple from Wisconsin. They were in the cabin next to me.We ended up going out to dinner and I had a fantastic steak. We sat outside the cabin and drank beer and exchanged stories all afternoon. It was a good time.I think the people from Wisconsin are some of the nicest folks in America. There must be something in that cheese.

  1. Should be an interesting time climbing those little foothills called the Rockies. I loved my crossing of the Rockies both times. The last time I did it though was thirty years ago. It is a gass to read your notes on each days experiences. I can just picture those encounters you write of with all those strangers and I can feel your connection to these new friends you are making and I can already anticipate the retelling of these stories when we can finally get a chance to re-connect in person and shoot the shit about what the hell has gone by since last we talked in person. It has been 53 weeks today that we did the 2nd ever reunion jam and I am finding myself wondering if we will be able to do it again? Last year father's day was the re-union. Today I had a really cool fatrher's day steak dinner at Outback courtesy of my only son. Justin just finished his Summer A term with two A's. His GPA is going to go up from 3.82 because of those two A's too! He is on schedule to receive his Bachelor's in Human Resource Management next May. I can't tell ya how wonderful this young man has turned out to be. Actually, has always been.
Ride safe and be well my dear friend. I love ya Len. May peace be widdya.
